The Baby's supplies must be selected carefully. If you are not careful, you will leave potential safety hazards. Especially clothes, which are directly in contact with the baby's delicate skin, should be selected carefully. There are many materials and styles of children's clothes on the market, but the quality is uneven. Some clothes must not be worn by babies.
Why do you have to look at the metal clothing label when buying children's clothes?
Through the metal clothing label, we can see many doorways. The clothing produced and sold by regular merchants must have complete three certificates and consistent contents.
See three certificates: collar label, certificate of conformity (tag), and wash the label
Collar label: usually behind the collar or trouser waist.
Because the position of the collar label is special, it may make the baby uncomfortable. Some businesses will be more considerate and put the collar label of the baby's clothes outside to prevent rubbing the baby's skin.
In addition to the brand trademark, the collar label should also have the clothing number. If there is no label type, it is often irregular, or the label has been replaced.
Hanging type: the above contents include clothing name, model (specification), executive standard, fabric (lining), manufacturer, place of origin, safety category, quality grade, bar code, etc.
Detergent generally has raw materials and washing instructions.
Then parents should pay special attention to whether the basic information of the three standards is complete and whether the content is consistent.
If you look carefully, many hanging metal clothing labels of children's clothing purchased by nonbrand children's clothing stores and some treasures are incomplete, and even washing labels and hanging metal clothing labels are marked with different contents. For example, there is "80% cotton and 20% polyester fiber" on the hanging tag.
Irregular small factories, workshops, and labels that have not passed the industrial and commercial inspection; Or retailers may remove the tags and metal clothing labels of miscellaneous bulk goods and hang their labels uniformly, to shoddy them.
Pay attention to the safety category
According to the current national standards, the "safety level" of clothing commodities can be divided into three levels: A, B, and C. Class A products are infant products, class B products can directly contact the skin, and class C products cannot directly contact the skin.
In other words, adults usually wear close-fitting clothes should be class B, and coats can reach class C. Moreover, the clothes and supplies for children under 3 years old must be class A, and class B can be selected for children over 3 years old.
Don't underestimate the safety level of this category. This classification is mainly determined according to the formaldehyde content, pH value, and colorfastness of clothes.
Formaldehyde content: it is believed that parents will not be unfamiliar with the harm of formaldehyde to children. At present, formaldehyde inevitably exists in most clothing in the production process. The content standard of infant clothing is ≤ 20 mg/kg, while that of children and adults is 75 and 300, which is still very different.
PH value: alkali will be used in the dyeing and processing of clothing textiles. If the alkali is too large, it will cause serious irritation to the baby's skin and lead to acute reactions such as allergy and dermatitis. Therefore, for class A clothing suitable for babies, the pH value is required to be between 4 and 7.5, that is, it is weakly acidic or neutral.
Searching for a metal clothing label manufacturer, or supplier from China, you can get high-quality products at a nice price.
