November 04,2022
Label paper is a common material for barcode printers, and its thickness is usually about 75g. It is widely used in supermarkets, inventory management, etc. Today, we will introduce the characteristics of different label papers.
PET high-grade label papers
PET is the abbreviation of polyester film, which is a kind of fiber material. PET has good hardness and brittleness, and its colors generally include silver, white and bright white. There are 25 times (1 time=1um), 50 times, 75 times and other specifications according to the thickness, which is related to the specific provisions of the manufacturer.
PVC high-grade label papers
PVC is an English abbreviation for vinyl. It also has a fiber material. The common colors are sub white and pearl white. PVC and PET have close performance. It has better flexibility and soft touch than PET. It is often used in jewelry, jewelry, watches, electronics, metal materials and other high-end places.
Clothing label
Clothes hangtags should use two sides of coated paper. The thickness of the coated paper used for clothing tags is generally 160g-300g. However, a too-thick clothing tag is not suitable for packaging printing, while the clothing tag printed by a barcode printer should be about 180g. This can ensure a good printing effect and protect the print head.
